The Université Bourgogne Europe is a multi-site university, the main one of which, Dijon, is the city where the two laboratories which bring together the most chemists are located: the Institute of Molecular Chemistry of the Université Bourgogne Europe (ICMUB) and the Carnot of Burgundy Interdisciplinary Laboratory (ICB Laboratory).

The Burgundy Franche-Comté regional chapter of the French Chemical Society (SCF) participates with Claire LEJAULT (ICMUB, Dijon) in the financial and administrative management of GECOM 2025.
